Our Airman SST collection traces back to 1967, when we reinterpreted the Airman for the supersonic age, naming it after the SST, or Supersonic Transport, aircraft of the era, and giving it a bolder, more angular case with the pop of orange on the bezel that earned it the nickname "the Pumpkin" among collectors. Today's SST models carry that same spirit into a 43mm automatic GMT watch, still built around the rotating bezel and 24-hour dial that defined the original Airman, now finished with a sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance for daily wear. It's a collection that captures a bold, distinctive chapter of our aviation story, born in an era when flight itself was breaking new speed records.
